Taste an impressive array of award winning wines at the California State Fair.

Save Mart's Wine Country at the State Fair Wine Garden features many of the award winning wines from the California State Wine Competition. More than 400 California wineries are represented by an inventory in access of 500 individual wines.

The State Fair Wine Garden/Save Mart's Wine Country is generously sponsored by Save Mart. Nestled in a beautiful setting under the shade of trees and canopies with a landscape of grapes, flowers, and native plants, visitors to the State Fair Wine Garden will find a wine country-like atmosphere complete with generous seating, authentic wine barrels and spacious tasting bar.

During several days the fair honors a different California winery as Winery of the Day. Visitors can taste and purchase the specialty wines that are provided by the Winery of the Day as well as other medal award winning wines. Cases of wines may also be purchased through an arrangement with Save Mart.

Visitors to the Wine Garden will also have the opportunity to purchase souvenir glasses, the official California Wine Magazine, wine related novelties and a great variety of cheeses, fruit, bread and California Pizza to enjoy with your favorite varietals.
